Days after two deadly earthquakes blasted Iran, killing hundreds and injuring thousands, a new earthquake shook the country Tuesday. The new quake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale.

The new quake occurred in northeast Iran, not far from the epicenter of the quakes Saturday, near the city of Tabriz. There was no word on damage or further death or injuries in the initial reports on the quake Tuesday evening.
