The town of Bruchin received its legal charter Sunday, as the commander of the IDF Central Command, Nitzan Alon, signed an order giving the town legal status. The town is now an official part of the Samaria Regional Council.
The change in status was part of a government decision to legalize three towns in Judea and Samaria - Sansana, Bruchin, and Rehelim – which have been existence for years, but through an oversight were never given legal status.
