The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 4.004, up .426 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro rose .185 percent to 4.9153 shekels.
The pound sterling was set at NIS 6.2413, up .087 percent, while 100 Japanese yen advanced .216 percent to 5.1004 shekels. The Canadian dollar rose .493 percent to NIS 4.032, while its Australian counterpart slipped .081 percent to 4.2118 shekels. The South African rand declined .122 percent to NIS .4915, while the Swedish Krona rose .556 percent to .5971 shekels.
