The Samaria (Shomron)-Judea police said, Tuesday evening, that the remand of a Kiryat Arba' resident, arrested Tuesday morning in a police crackdown on pedophiles, was extended until Thursday. The remand of some of the 30 suspects arrested in the last 24 hours was also extended by a few days.

The suspects were arrested as a result of the work of an undercover officer who posed as a 12-year-old girl in internet chat rooms and forums. Police said the case shows the importance of parents guarding their children from the dangers of cyberspace.
