Dr. Nili Avni Magen, the veterinarian of the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem, told Arutz Sheva on Tuesday what methods the zoo uses to cool down the animals that have been suffering from the recent heat wave.

“Just as we humans seek shade, cold water and ice cream to stay cool, so do the animals and we provide this to them,” she said. “They have plenty of shaded areas and ponds of water to those who love water. We also give them bring buckets of frozen fruits to cool them.”
