Popular show hosts Ari Abramowitz and Jeremy Gimpel of Tuesday Night Live fame are holding a campaign meeting in Jerusalem on Wednesday evening. Abramowitz and Gimpel were invited by the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) Party to join as young American-born community leaders. They recently held a televised debate featuring candidates for the leadership of the party.
They hope to have people register with the party and then vote for them in the primaries. This is the first time in the Jewish Home's history that primaries are being held as opposed to an appointed party list.
Gimpel told Arutz Sheva news, "We have not been successful in delivering our message to the world or within Israel. And we are going, with G-d's help, to breath a fresh breath of air into the religious Zionist movement."
The event will take place Wednesday July 18th in the Armon Hanatziv / East Talpiot neighborhood of Jerusalem. To RSVP call 052-478-9193.
