President Shimon Peres attended the opening ceremony of the city of Ramat Hasharon’s 90th anniversary celebrations on Wednesday evening. Peres received from Mayor Itzik Rochberger an honorary citizenship and a certificate declaring that he is and the “youngest citizen in Ramat Hasharon.”
Peres said, “I'm younger than Ramat Hasharon by just one year and I wish I looked like it, with all the impressive achievements which are a symbol and an example for other cities.”
