Motti Kedar Supports Bennett as Bayit Yehudi Chief

Middle East expert Mordechai Kedar announced, Monday morning, that he was joining the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party). He also announced his support for Naftali Bennett as party chief and Ayelet Shaked as a candidate on the party's Knesset list.

Dr. Kedar said, "This is apparently the only party that speaks to the younger generation, to our next generation, to those who should keep the state's Jewish character." He added, "The prominent people on the list: Naftali Bennett, Ayelet Shaked, are the people who should represent us in the Knesset and the government - and between you and me - at the head of the government [in the prime minister's office -ed.]."
