      Dollar Up, Euro Down

      The official value of the shekel slipped an average of .018 percent, Friday, in mixed trading against the currencies featured on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.93, up .434 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro declined .557 percent to 4.8698 shekels.

      The pound sterling was set at 6.1084 shekels, up .041 percent, while 100 Japanese yen rose .165 percent to NIS 4.9209.
