An Israeli soldier suffered light to moderate wounds, Sunday evening, when a grenade he was holding accidentally went off, according to the Tatzpit news service. The accident happened during a disturbance by dozens of Arabs who threw rocks at the Trans-Binyamin Highway and the Jewish community of Neve Tzuf.
The soldier received initial treatment by Magen David Adom crews and was evacuated to the trauma unit at Tel Hashomer Hospital.
