Update: Two Arrested in Jerusalem Social Protest

Two people were arrested, Sunday night, following two attempts by social-justice demonstrators to stop the Jerusalem light rail. The first was stopped when police moved protesters to the sidewalk. The demonstrators returned, later, and after they did not respond to police demands to disperse, police declared the assembly to be illegal and started making arrests.

The police said they will continue to allow legal demonstrations and prevent any attempt at disturbance or blockage of central arteries, explaining that they "won't allow any attempt to disrupt the lives of tens of thousands of Jerusalem residents and will use all legal means at their disposal to prevent demonstrators from doing so."
