C'tee: Government Policy Needed Infiltrator Problems

The Knesset Interior and Environmental Protection Committee called, Monday morning, for a change in public discourse regarding the tens of thousands of Africans and others who have infiltrated Israel in recent years in search of work. The call followed a stormy session regarding recent violence against the infiltrators.

All committee members agreed that the problem of infiltrators is a fundamental problem and that a clear and determined government policy is needed to solve the problem to the point of transferring the infiltrators to safety. Committee Chairman Amnon Cohen said that the committee condemns all acts of violence against any person, because all were created in "the image of God".
