The government gives illegal entrants bus tickets to any destination in Israel they choose, Minister of the Interior Yitzchak Aharonovich revealed Wednesday. The information came in response to a query from MK Rachel Adatto.
“Minister Aharonovich’s response goes to show how when it comes to the illegal entrants, the government’s right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing,” Adatto said. “While the law allows illegal entrants to be put in jail, and special installations created by the Prison Services sit empty, the government itself gives the illegal entrants tickets to go anywhere they want.
“Then the state is surprised to see the concentrated populations in south Tel Aviv and other cities,” she added.
