Tsipras Gives Up Attempt to Form Coalition in Greece

The leader of Greek's leftist party, Alexis Tsipras, has announced that he has not succeeded in forming a coalition and that he is giving up the attempt.

Following this, the country's socialist party will attempt to form a coalition instead. If they should fail, the Greek President will call for a national unity government.

If that effort does not bear fruit by May 17, there will be new elections.
