MK Akunis: Livni's Resignation the End for Kadima
Member of Knesset Ofir Akunis (Likud Party) said that the retirement of former Kadima chairwoman Tzipi Livni is a sign of the collapse of the entire Kadima party. He said that "the resignation is proof of the resounding failure of the Kadima party in the last three years." Livni is being replaces by 34-year-old Yuval Zellner. She lost last month in the Kadima primaries to MK Shaul Mofaz. Kadima is currently the largest party in the Knesset with 28 seats.
