Chairman Shaul Mofaz of the Kadima party told its Knesset faction, Monday, that the party is ready for Knesset elections at any time. Against the backdrop of a poll that shows Kadima falling from its leading 28 seats to 11, Mofaz said, "We won't be influenced by surveys. We will influence the surveys."
Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yechimovich told her faction that the party was ready to go to elections now and that the voters would speak for themselves. Labor was seen as dropping from 18 seats to 14.
