Police announced, late Thursday morning, that the Hurshat Tal (Tal Forest) National Park in the Hula Valley of northern Israel and the Nachal Senir (Senir Stream) Nature Reserve in the Galilee were closed to further Independence Day visitors because they had reached capacity.

Roads leading to the sites were also crowded.
