Hundreds Accompany Rabbi Sinai Julian to Final Rest

The remains of Rabbi Sinai Julian, the husband of Arutz Sheva reporter Hana Levi Julian, were laid to rest, Thursday afternoon in Arad. He passed away, Wednesday evening, following heart surgery.

Hundreds of people attended the funeral, including residents of Arad and the nearby Bedouin village of Dragot (Darja in Arabic), where the Julians first lived when they moved to Israel. A busload of people came from Jerusalem. A number of friends and relatives aboard the bus shared their memories and perspectives on Rabbi Julian's life in the United States and Israel and his passing while en route. In accordance with Jewish law for the month of Nissan, there was no formal eulogy. The family is sitting shiv'ah at 21 Hasaifan in Arad until Wednesday morning.
