Minister of Information and Diapsoar Affairs Yuli Edelstein met with Rabbi Elad Meir and a group of supporters on Tuesday. Rabbi Meir, one of the handful of activists from Samaria that were arrested following a protest. Rabbi Meir was arrested for sending out cell phone text messages to organize a protest against the eviction of a hilltop community in Samaria. Rabbi Meir has been banned from entering Samaria by police and is currently living with relatives. Minister Edelstein spoke to a group of supporters and said he would try and remedy the situation.
