Aleh, Israel’s largest network of residential facilities for children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities, hosted the Aleh Marches Forward event on Tuesday. Now in its second year, the march is meant to increase public awareness of the disabled and encourage their integration within the community. Over 300 participants walked across the Jerusalem Chords Bridge. Shlomit Grayevsky, the founding director of Aleh Jerusalem spoke at the event.
Aleh was established in 1982 and is Israel's largest and most advanced network of residential facilities for children with severe disabilities.
