China Worried About N. Korea Launch

China said Sunday that it was “worried” about the imminent launching of a satellite by North Korea. At a meeting with the foreign ministers of Japan and South Korea, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said that "China is concerned and worried about the latest development on the Korean peninsula.

"It is in the common interest of all sides to maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and realize long-term peace and stability in northeast Asia," Yang said.
