Weinstein, Broshi Approve Temporary Work at Migron Site

As the Binyamin Regional Council began work to develop the site near the Migron winery to absorb residents of the Binyamin-region community of Migron, it received approval for temporary use of the site from Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein and Eitan Broshi, Defense Minister Ehud Barak's assistant for Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

Weinstein specified the placing of caravans or converted mobile homes at the site. Broshi's approval represents a change from an earlier position, when he called the winery site irrelevant. The development work is scheduled to continue during the intermediate days of Passover, when work is generally minimized, so that the site will be as ready as possible by the August 1st deadline for uprooting Migron.
