Two famous Israeli singers have won lifetime achievement awards from the ACUM Israeli music royalty organization. Yehuda Poliker has been in the music scene since the 1980s. His mix of rock and ballads often mix in a Greek influence. His parents were Holocaust survivors from Greece and Poliker has recorded songs about the subject.
Tzruya Lahav is a singer and violinist. Beginning her career in the 1970s, she performed and toured in the United Stated with Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. After returning to Israel she wrote many hits for other Israeli artists and authored several screenplays.
ACUM also gave awards to younger singers Dudu Tasa, Nathan Goshen, Maya Isacowitz and others.
