Jewish Tourists Attacked in Galilee

A group of Jewish youths who went hiking Sunday in the Galilee were attacked by Druze teens and children. One of the hikers spoke to Arutz Sheva about the experience.

The incident took place at a natural spring between the towns of Yarka and Jat, he said. Three Jewish hikers entered the waters of the spring. While they were there, a group of children and youths gathered and began insulting them and throwing rocks. Despite calls to stop the attack not only continued, but escalated, with the attackers throwing larger and larger rocks, until the oldest youth present ordered them to stop.

When the hikers returned to their car, they found the tires had been puctured.
