Shekel, Euro Stronger, Dollar Down


The official value of the shekl rose an average of .289 percent, Friday, against most of the currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.715, down .509 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro slipped .097 percent to 4.953 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5,9394, up .111 percent, while 100 Japanese yen declined .455 percent to 4.5255 shekels.
