Bayit Yehudi: Registration and Primaries after Passover

An absolute majority at the conference of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) decided, Thursday evening, to hold a registration drive and primary election for chairman and Knesset candidates, immediately following the Passover holiday which begins next week. In addition, new institutions will be selected to give widespread representation to youth and women.

In an article in the Besheva' weekly, Member of Knesset Uri Orbach called on the religious Zionist public to get involved. He also called on the National Union to join Bayit Yehudi on a joint ballot, explaining that the ticket had the potential to increase its representation in Knesset and bodies of concern to the religious Zionist public.
