Yen Jumps, Dollar Up, Euro Down

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .105 percent, Thursday, in mixed trading against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.734, up .269 percent from Wednesday's rate, while the Euro declined .115 percent to 4.9578 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.9328, up .206 percent, while 100 Japanese yen jumped 1.319 percent to 4.5462 shekels.
