A multiparty delegation of Knesset members arrived in the United States, Sunday, for a series of intensive meetings with lawmakers and leaders of the American Jewish community under the auspices of the Ruderman Foundation and Brandeis University.

Delegation member Lia Shemtov (Yisrael Beiteinu) said that strengthening ties with American Jewry is especially important these days, when radical Islam is showing its true colors. She also attached importance to a Teleseker survey, on behalf of Ruderman, that shows 95 percent of Israelis believe the support of the American Jewish community is important.
