UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos said on Thursday that despite the UN Security Council’s demands, the government in Damascus continues to make it difficult for aid workers and limits their access to people who need help.
According to Amos, there are Syrian citizens who “need food, shelter and medical care.”
