Noting the increase in security at Jewish institutions and the suspension of the presidential campaign, he added, "This case isnotonlya crime againstthe victims,it's a crimeagainst democracyandagainstthe common values​​ofIsraelandFrance.

Bigot noted, "Last yearwas the yearwiththe leastanti-Semitic incidentsin Francein the last decade." Committee Chairman Danny Danonresponded "All over the worldthere are fewercases, butthe severity of the incidentsincreases every year."
