Weather: Calm Before the Next Front

It will be clear to partly cloudy and warmer, Monday. Increasing cloudiness and gusty winds are expected Tuesday with haze in the south and lower temperatures. Light rain is expected to start falling around noon in the north, developing into isolated evening showers in the north and center, spreading to the northern Negev on Wednesday, when the rain will be more frequent in the north and center. Flash flooding is expected through Thursday in low-lying areas of the coastal plain in addition to the Judean Desert, Dead Sea and Jordan Valley,  The winds and haze in the south will continue, with temperatures dropping below normal.  Snow is expected on Mount Hermon, spreading to other northern peaks on Thursday. The stormy weather will spread to most of the country on Thursday, with temperatures dropping even further.
