Tel Shiloh, an archeological site in the Samaria region is to receive approximately 15 million shekels for upkeep. The Knesset's Ministerial Committee on Heritage is expected to approve 16 different national heritage sites and earmark funds for their benefit on Tuesday. Two other sites in Judea & Samaria, Rachel's Tomb and the Cave of Machpelah will not be on the list

Tel Shilo is the site of the ancient Biblical Tabernacle, The Cave of Abraham, the Synagogue of the Dome of the Divine Presence, the burial site of Eli the High Priest and the synagogue of Hannah's prayer.
