Wednesday Gasoline Hike an Eight-Month High


It was announced on Sunday that the price of gasoline will go up 3.18 percent, Tuesday evening at midnight to NIS 7,46 a liter ($7.42 a gallon) for 95-octane fuel at the self service pumps. The full service price will be 7.67 shekels a liter ($7.63 a gallon).

In Eilat, where there is no value-added tax, the new prices will be NIS 6.42 a liter ($6.39 a gallon) for self serve and 6.60 shekels a liter ($6.73 a gallon). The new prices are the highest in the last eight months.
