Defense Minister Ehud Barak tourist Judea and Samaria on Tuesday. After visiting with commanding officers of the area divisions, he stated, "today is the security situation is good... [but] we're never really satisfied... we have nothing more important than to protect Israeli citizens."
Barak also condemned the so-called "price tag" vandalism incidents and advocated extending the Tal Law for another year. The Tal Law enables full time yeshiva students to be exempt from the army.
