Kadima MK Blasts Tzipi Livni Over Low Polls

Member of Knesset Avi Dichter of the Kadima party blasted party leader MK Tzipi Livni over recent low polls. "Even if Yair Lapid was not running for the Knesset, Kadima would lose 10 seats," Dichter stated. "Kadima undoubtedly has sharply deteriorated with Tzipi Livni." Dichter made the comment on Galei Tzahal Radio. He called upon Livni to be replaced as party leader.

Kadima was formed by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon just before the Disengagement from Gaza in 2005. It was comprised of former Likud and Labor members who supported Sharon. Yair Lapid is a talk show host who announced yesterday his intention to go into politics with his own party. New polls have show voters switching to Lapid instead of Kadima.
