Security forces demolished the Samarian Jewish outpost community of Giv'at Aryeh, next to Itamar, before dawn Tuesday morning. The site, established in memory of slain members of Itamar's Fogel family, was home to two families and five singles. One of the buildings was designated as a synagogue.
