Rosh Yeshiva of the Petach Tikva Yeshiva, Rabbi Yuval Cherlo claims that the silence of the Haredi population over the recent extremism encourages it. The rabbi is of the opinion that separation has its place, but preventing women from speaking at a funeral or holding public positions in a modest way is extremism.
