The Northern Region State Attorney’s Office submitted indictments against MK Said Nafaa (BALAD) and against 16 Druze Sheikhs for visits in Syria and Lebanon in 2007 in 2010.
They are accused of visiting enemy countries, and Nafaa is also charged with contact with a foreign agent. The allegation is due to a meeting he had with a senior terrorist from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
