      24-Hour Immigrant Airlift Underway

An airlift of 16 special flights organized by the Jewish Agency for Israel will bring 350 new immigrants from around the world to Israel between Monday and Tuesday. One of the flights will be a Nefesh B'Nefesh organization flight from North America.

The arrival of the new Israelis will culminate in a Chanukah party at the Ramada Renaissance Hotel in Jerusalem, including the participation of Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky and Director-General Alan Hoffman. At the same time, they will receive their Israeli identity cards and particpate in a fair where they will be offered various essential services for their absorption.
