Report: Hizbullah on the Verge of Bankruptcy

Hizbullah is on the verge of bankruptcy because embattle Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has stopped sending them money, according to a weekend article by French newspaper Le Figaro, published locally on Monday by Yisrael Hayom. Funding from Iran was also drasticly cut because of a deteriorating economy brought on by the sanctions against the Tehran government's nuclear development program.

The Shi'ite terror group also suffers from internal corruption. The height of the phenomenon was the embezzlement of 1.5 billion dollars by the Hizbullah's investment manager.
