Member of Knesset Majali Wahabe (Kadima) said, Monday morning, that Defense Minister Ehud Barak's appraisal, on Sunday, that the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad will fall within weeks was too optimistic.

Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio, MK Wahabe said the Syrian opposition is not yet united enough to fight Al-Assad and bring him down. He added that Western states, while condemning the Damascus government's violent attempts to suppress dissent, have not supplied the rebels with weapons.
