Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood Condemns Bridge Closing

The Islamic Movement in Jordan issued a statement, Thursday, against the Jerusalem municipality's intention to close the bridge from the Western Wall Plaza to the Temple Mount for safety reasons. The movement made it clear that "There's no way to work with the occupation except by struggle."

Secretary-General Hamza Mansour of the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamic Action Front party called the step a violation of international decisions, claiming that Israel continued what he called its aggression only because of the American veto at the United Nations Security Council and the weakness of the other powers.
