Demand for New Apartments Down


The demand for new apartments declined 11 percent during the months between July and October, compared to the March-June trimester, according to a report released Sunday by the Central Bureau of Statistics. Demand was down 19 percent from the same period last year.

The supply of new dwellings was up 23 percent in October over the same month in 2010.
