US Jewish leaders have met with Vice President Joe Biden, intent upon changing his mind over pardoning Jonathan Pollard. The meeting came after Biden only a few months ago remarked that the Pollard pardon would be “over his dead body”, but he has since taken back this statement. 18 Ex-senators have submitted their petition for the pardon to President Obama, to hopefully secure a presidential pardon for Pollard in time for the winter holidays in the US.
