Syrians Attack Jordanian Embassy in Damascus

A Jordanian official says his country's embassy in Damascus was attacked after Jordan's King Abdullah II criticized the Syrian president's violent crackdown on eight months of protests.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Kayed says about 100 demonstrators gathered outside the embassy on Monday after Abdullah told the BBC that Bashar Assad should step down.
