Shekel Stable, Dollar Up, Euro Down

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .001 percent in mixed trading, Thursday against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.723, up .296 percent while the Euro slipped .138 percent to 5.053 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at 5.9244, down .078 percent and the Japanese yen rose .284 percent, 100 yen buying NIS 4.7943. The biggest loss was posted by the Australian dollar, which fell .63 percent to 3.7727
