Mortar Fired at Negev

Gaza Arab terrorists fired a mortar shell at Israel Monday evening. The shell fell near the Gaza border fence, in an open area of the Sha'ar Hanegev regional council. No one was injured and there was no damage reported.

In her response to Binyamin Netanyahu's speech in the Knesset Monday, Kadima head Tsipi Livni called on the Prime Minister to take the offensive in dealing with Hamas. “We cannot close our eyes to what is happening. Our actions send a message to the Arab world, and they make the difference between tragedy and hope.” Livni added that Hamas had gotten stronger during Netanyahu's term.
