Victim: We Won't Let Terrorists Leave the Country

In an emotional outburst during the hearing of petitions against the release of terrorists in exchange for Gilad Shalit, Shavuel Schijveschuurder, who lost five members of his family in the Sbarro attack in 2001, burst into the court proceedings and said that he would personally carry out a “price tag” revenge operation against terrorists who are released in the deal.

“Let it be clear that if the last bastion of justice does not do something to prevent the deterioration of the state of Israel, I will carry out a 'price tag' operation,” Schijveschuurder said. “We will not let the terrorists leave the borders of Israel,” he added. Schijveschuurder was quieted, but was not removed from the courtroom.
