Egyptian Oil Minister Abdallah Ghorab hinted, Tuesday, that the export of natural gas to Israel will become more expensive. Interviewed by the semi-official newspaper Al-Ahram, Ghorab said that a final draft of the prices will be finished soon. He added that they prices will be coordinated with prices in the international marketplace and protect Egypt's economic interests.
Ghorab said negotiations with Israel were continuing. Critics of Egypt's current natural gas deal say Israel is paying less than the current market price.
