IDF soldier foiled a multipronged attack near Gaza on Tuesday night when they uncovered bombs before they could be put to use. The bombs had been hidden near Kissufim.
While the bombs were being disarmed, terrorists opened fire. They had apparently lain in wait to fire on soldiers who they had hoped to injure with the remote-controlled explosives. A combat helicopter fired on the group, killing a terrorist later identified as Khaled Sahoud, a senior member of the PRC.
The PRC was behind a recent series of attacks near Eilat in which several people were murdered.
